VSONIC - More to Come

Also, free review samples are never sold for any financial gain. I do buy gears and review them, but for simplicity you (the reader) should always assume what I review is free sample in nature (and thus comes with all the bias). The website does have Google Ads and Amazon Associates enabled - though I don't write review for a living, nor does the ads generates enough money to cover my breakfast (in fact, not even one breakfast per week). Listening to music and playing with audio gears are purely hobby for me. In short, I am just an audiophiles who happens to have his own blog. Not a journalist who happens to be an audiophile. Oh, and excuse my writing as I am not a native English speaker and can't afford a proofreader.

can you help me find a place to purchase?
GR06 is currently in China only. You'll have to wait for the international dealer to pick it up.

Sh1t... thats mental..
Just when I bought the GR07...
sigh...
6BA in a non-custom earpiece space?? thats.. gonna be mental...
when are you going to release your review for the FA consonance? Love your sight
Fischer Audio's review is up next, either this weekend or early next week.
hey i heard u got the Zo sound subwoofer. any first impressionn on that ? is it worth the hype everyone is raving about? thanks.
As an portable amp, ZO might not be the best around. If you are purely interested in getting more power, better separation, larger soundstage, etc, it might not be that interesting. But the hardware EQ is very well done. It gives a richer tone (not just adding bass) to the overall sound without degrading the mid and treble, and that's the best part about ZO. Overall my impression is positive and I can see why some really love it. But on the other hand, I can also understand some might not need the ZO if they are not looking for EQ.
Anyway, I won't be reviewing ZO as a standalone product as I am getting the upcoming ZO v.2 in next few weeks. It will serve as a reference for the ZO v.2 review.
thank you for your detailed reply, love your reviews!
Hey,i saw in your Possible Reviews a VSONIC gr06,have you found a International dealer who has it?
No, I haven't. It is a review sample straight from VSONIC.
where did you get all this info??
Most of the time, a lot of internet browsing in tech news blog, manufacturers' website and forums.
Please keep us up to date, Tai. Quite interested in the GR08 myself. If they use a driver as good as the GR07 plus dual armature and the right tuning and enclosure, that could be something special. Hopefully at the $300 price point as well. Doesn't AKG want ~US$1,500 for the same thing, lol? The GR08 might turn out to sound even better:)
GR08 and GR09, yeah baby, if GR07 is anything to go by in sound quality, would be dying to hear what their six-BA sounds like, here's hoping that they would price is way below UM Miracle :)
i wonder what rating does GR06 gonna be in the list? can't wait for the full review...
how much burn-in does the GR06 require?
Not much really. It sounds fine fresh. If you really want to burn it in, 50hrs should be more than enough.
