New Wave

I reviewed the NineWave NW-Studio Pro a while ago and was fairly impressed by its performance. The Japanese high end earbuds maker now has a few more models to offer, including the lower end NW-Studio (around MSRP US$72 in Japan), an upcoming NW-Studio Pro W (not much detail yet) and the more fashionable NW-Studio GEM with added silver and leather parts (presumably a customized NW-Studio Pro).

ClieOS,

I would like to ask how is the sound signature for Westone UM1 compare to Shurwood 777? Worth to change from shurwood 777 to UM1?

I have never owned or listened to UM1 before, so I can't really tell you anything useful.

There are several IEM that do vocal well - assuming you are trying to keep it around US$100 or so, and a sound similar but better than SE777, I would suggest you look into Shure SE215. If you are being specific to female vocal only, RE0 (with a decent amp) is a good choice. For vocal in general, Sunrise Xcape-IE (more for male vocal) and Spider realvoice (limited to U.S.) are both great choice.
