Big companies like UE or Westone might not be able to compete price wise, they do have a stronger customer support team - plus, you also buy in a piece of the brand name, knowing that big company will be there when you need to contact them. I did some research for in ear monitors and found a company called Earsound Customs. Recently purchased their double driver for less then the UE 4 and the price included the cost of the impressions.
